Courses Plus Student 18,830 PointsThis is a topic that always makes me so sad! Treehouse used to have a shop where you could get some pretty cool shirts and things. I remember eying shirts in the store and when I went to finally buy one I learned it had sadly closed. :(
Nick Pettit mentioned in a previous discussion that "Unfortunately we have discontinued our shop. We hope to open it back up in the future, but it ended up being a big resource draw for our small team, and we'd rather focus on bringing you more awesome content."
I hope they do open up a shop again though! There seems to be a lot of buzz lately about this in the community. Sounds like more and more people want some merchandise.

78,399 PointsHi Michael if you read the "previous discussion" link above it talks towards the end about putting the design up so others can download it and produce their own swag.
Persoanlly, though I also agree they should bring the online shop back.
The excuse that it's a "big resource draw for our small team" is just pretty lame.
If you could sell more swag maybe you could hire more people and/or
use the swag to attract the attention of more potential subscribers,
thereby getting the funds to hire more people.
I guess the treehouse people have never heard of the concept of a virtuous cycle..
