Does anyone know anything regarding the estimated time it would take to complete a techdegree for iOS development here on Treehouse? I'm interested in taking it, but trying to figure out how long it would take and if it would be worth the cost :)

1,463 PointsI think the length is listed on the website for the TechDegree. The one for front end dev was one year (with an hour a day), I would assume any other techdegree would be about the same length.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 13,530 PointsIt's slated for a year, but I am currently in the techdegree and even with a full time job I'm about 50% completed and I've only been in the program two months.
So you can finish it faster, depending on how much time you can devote to it.

17,549 PointsYes, but how fast you can do it is limited by the project submissions. You can only submit a project every two weeks. So 12 projects (as in the Full Stack JS degree) means you can not be done with the degree in less than 6 months. <rant> I actually joined and left the techdegree because of that. I have to pay a minimum of $1200 to get the degree. Which makes the degree look like expensive fluff. I was under the impression that i could do it in two months or so since i already was through with most of the material, that'd have costed $500 or so, half the amount. It's the knowledge that's more important, not the degree, and the knowledge i can get for $25/m. </rant>
