Treehouse videos not playing - video area stays black!

Hi, I'm having a problem with my computer not streaming the Treehouse videos. I've tried 3 different browsers, stopped ad-block and checked my Flash and Java installations.

The video area stays black (which usually shows a still image) with a play symbol overlay. When I click play, it loads for a few seconds then goes black. I've never had a problem with this before.

Would anyone have any suggestions?

The other unusual thing is, I cannot even download the video files and get a "webpage not available" message. This works on computers at home, but not on my computer.

Hi Chris,

Videos are working for me. Sometimes they can glitch (not play) if there's a problem with my internet connection.

Just to make sure, can you link the URL to the video you're trying to watch and I'll double check it?

That video is playing for me. I really don't know what to suggest, other than your internet connection may be having problems.

But, since I can't know for sure, go ahead and contact support. They may be able to provide more information.

Cheers

Thanks for your help, I've sent support an email. I'm beginning to think my computer is blocking the connection to the video source as I cannot download the video files either.

Having the same problem here. I can watch youtube hd videos or any other video. Treehouse Videos are not playing for me. I have tried all three browsers, IE, Firefox, and Chrome.

Still waiting for a reply from support. I resorted to using chrome remote desktop to my media centre pc to do it at my desk. Can you load this website out of interest?: www.speedtest.net (I've got a feeling this issue is related.)

I'm not to good at understand all this, I'm not a "network" person...although I did take a network class in college, and it was garbage :D. Anyway here ya go. Ping 30ms, Download Speed 7.64 Mbps, and 1.53 Mbps Upload speed. Like I said I can watch hd videos, and movies no problem. I did get a few blanks screens were it said the server was busy for treehouse. Also I share a internet connection with my nephew, and he can watch Netflix while watch a long youtube video, and I never get any buffering. I can also stream a movie from a HD movie from Netflix on my PS4 while he's watching Netflix as well.
