Treehouse VM Copy ssh key

For github it says to enter

clip < ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub

But whenever I do that it gives me an error to install it but wont install anything.

On Ubuntu I've done this a million times but I can't figure it out on the Treehouse vm!

Thanks :D

Brandon Stewart I'm not sure if the "clip" command is installed by default. Can you do cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub and manually copy/paste the output to GitHub?

Awesome thanks a ton! I was trying to find that command :) Didn't realize it was just cat

Nick Pettit Jason Seifer May you guys know ? :)

Brandon Stewart what is the error you're getting? The Treehouse VM doesn't have an SSH key pre-made to install to GitHub, you'll have to generate it.

Jason Seifer I generated it and everything, I just got to the last step where I had to copy it, but I can't figure out how to copy it ?
