Treehouse VM not mapping to local directory

I'm attempting to do the project where we Build a Todo List Application with Rails 4, and I used all the commands in the first video to start up the Treehouse VM, SSH into it, and then have Rails create a skeleton application, but when I look in the projects directory on my Mac (OS X 10.9.3), there's no folder for the project. What gives?

I figured it out. Apparently, I was working in the wrong directory the entire time
