Treehouse Workspaces - cannot type # on mac (Option + 3), returns (arge: 3)

Hey,

As the title states, cannot type in the Hashtag # on the Treehouse Workspaces when I'm trying to learn Python.

When pressing Option + 3 - it returns - (arg 3)

Is there a workaround, besides have to C&P the symbol in from browser/word etc
