Triangular css not touching

Im trying to make the triangular shapes made by css to touch on the ends. On the left of the second triangle there is space between the top and the one under it on the left side. I want them to touch and cover the space between them so it's like 2 triangle joined together.

Here is the codepen.

(With normalize.css)

I'm not really understanding this one Qasim. Can you please rephrase?

Already figured it out but I appreciate your reply. I meant that the two triangles the top one and the bottom one should touch each other, and the bottom triangle should fill half of it's size like it should stretch it self until it covers the width of the page.
