Trouble creating inner class

After submitting my code I'm getting an error that I should have a new inner class. What should I fix here? Thanks!

MainActivity.java
public class MainActivity extends Activity {
    final TwitterClient twitterClient = new TwitterClient();

    @Override
    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
      setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);

      class TwitterThread extends Thread {
        @Override
        public void run() {
          twitterClient.update();
        }
      }

      TwitterThread t = new TwitterThread();
      t.setName("TwitterThread");
      t.start();
    }
}

Hi Nathan - The inner class should be outside the onCreate() method.

Hi Kourosh,

That did the trick! It makes sense to call an inner class from outside onCreate(). Thank you
