trouble grasping the info

Are you following a track? It would help to know what you're studying.

My suggestion would be to watch a single tutorial, take no notes just watch. Then re-watch and this time take notes and if you need to be sure watch it again.

Getting used to it takes time, your learning a new language, even if you have to watch a single tutorial 4 or 5 times in the beginning then do it, you'll get the hang of it soon i promise.

This is what works best for me when using Treehouse.

I always download the project files and slow the video down so I can type along with it. At the end of a project or deep dive I grab the final project file and break it down tear it apart and put it back together. +1 on re-watching videos, I do it all the time.

I would start with the Building a Simple Web Site then Framework Basics.

I personally think Framework basics is best left until you have a good understanding of html and css.
