i have been using treehouse but i find it hard to remember any concepts and syntax and take notes on videos have not helped . should go my book store and get reference on the subjects .plus i really do not i understand code pen so if any one has any advice please help there nothing more that i want learn to code in the whole world

19,579 PointsMy suggestion would be to watch a single tutorial, take no notes just watch. Then re-watch and this time take notes and if you need to be sure watch it again.
Getting used to it takes time, your learning a new language, even if you have to watch a single tutorial 4 or 5 times in the beginning then do it, you'll get the hang of it soon i promise.

16,916 PointsThis is what works best for me when using Treehouse.
I always download the project files and slow the video down so I can type along with it. At the end of a project or deep dive I grab the final project file and break it down tear it apart and put it back together. +1 on re-watching videos, I do it all the time.
I would start with the Building a Simple Web Site then Framework Basics.
