Trying to write a helper method to return true if go kart is full.

I am trying to write a helper method to return true if the go kart is full.

GoKart.java
public class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String mColor;
  private int mBarsCount;

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty(){
    return mBarsCount ==0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged(){
    if(MAX_BARS);
  }

  public GoKart(String color) {
    mColor = color;
    mBarsCount = 0;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return mColor;
  }

  public void charge() {
    mBarsCount = MAX_BARS;
  }
}

Kevin;

Welcome to Treehouse!

In isFullyCharged() you aren't returning anything. Since we want it to return true if the battery is fully charged we can return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS.

Post back if you are still stuck.

Happy coding,
Ken
