Hello everyone!

I am so excited to announce that we have two very highly requested courses available for your consumption! :rocket: :tada:

Introduction to Functional Programming

Functional programming is really gaining speed in development circles, and I am so glad that we are able to provide you with the best place to get started using it. The Intro to FP course has a new type of code challenge that let's you code from the comfort of your own IDE, and I know y'all are gonna love it.

Thats great news and it's definitely on my todo list! (I have to admit there some more of your courses there...)

Any prerequisites for these two courses ? And why is this paradigm relatively new to Java programming lanaguae ?

Hi Dino ล porer !

The recommend pre-requisite is Unit Testing in Java and you should have some Gradle awareness for the code challenges.

Languages evolve to meet the needs of their users and it just took a while for Java to catch up. I discuss why it is so hot now, in the second video of the course. I really like Java's approach to the problem space, and I hope you do too!

Just started it. Great course. And your teaching style Craig Dennis Just wondering if the terms in the parking lot are explained already.
