Types of Companies UK

Really enjoy all the training videos but have found the 'Starting a Business' is for the US and not the UK. The format is superb but I would really like to hear about starting up in the UK.

I'm glad someone else asked this question because I chickened out lol

The courses mention about international laws and differences the odd time but Treehouse is an american based company so I think it will predominantly focus on US laws for it's courses.

I'd like them to do a UK based business course but if they did that, would they then have to do a German or European based course? Where would they draw the line?

I myself am a sole practitioner but I think for larger companies with employees for now you can take a lot of what the business courses teach you into your own business.

Hey Robert Mason

Jonathan Grieve answered that spot on. We'd love to cover as many countries as possible but since our student base is so large and spread out, if we're covering specific countries, we'd need to cover them all (and in different languages).

I've been trying to mitigate this problem by posting links covering the relevant information for as many countries as possible. These links are in the Teacher's Notes section of individual videos. Other than that there are plenty of people in the Treehouse community who happen to be in the country you are in so if you have any location specific questions feel free to ask and I'm sure someone will chime in.

Hope that helps

Yes I had assumed this would be the case. It's a shame because I found your videos to be very clear, precise.

I’ll look through the teachers notes.

Thanks you for the replies guys.
