Typography Tutorials?

Hey guys.

Just a suggestion, this actually may be under design or something, but Treehouse should have a typgraphy course.

Typography is a must-know in web design, and whenever I ask people what they think of my website they usually dislike the fonts or how they go together.

What do you guys think? Would it be nice to have a Typography course? Or is there one that I don't know about?

Let me know!

Sure they cover this here been a while since I tried and failed at design :(

Aw :( . What went wrong?

Imagination and creativeness are seriously lacking in my brain lol. So I stuck to the developer route and never looked back.

Aw. Yeah, that's my biggest fear. I'm not very imaginative/creative at times but I hope that will change.

If not, I'll try out other things!

Would defo give the design courses a try see how it feels.

Will do!

Say, this is sort of off topic, but do you know anyone that wants to work on a framework or would like to try it out? I'm making one with a few others and we need all the people that we can get :P.

I would lend a hand with something like that. Feel free to contact me Sacki2013@gmail.com

Alright you've been added to the basecamp!

By the way, most of us don't know much about making a framework haha, so if there are a lot of mistakes don't be afraid to criticize us xD.

If you are better with back end stuff and javascript, you can make a new file and name it javascript or whatever code you'll be writing.

I assume you know what a framework is right?

This is a great idea!

Allison Grayce has already touched on this here: http://teamtreehouse.com/library/photoshop-foundations/type-tools/creating-editing-type

However, I do feel like good Typography can be learnt, great Typography comes from experience in my opinion, as well as a good eye for detail and good design principles and practices. I wonder if Matt has made any videos on Typography?

Would still be nice to know if there is anything else in the pipeline that is typographic specific.

I'll give it a go after this section of the html/css course!

Thanks!
