unable install rails 5.0.0

I'm getting an error while I try to install rails 5.0.0 Error: could not find a valid gem 'rails' (= 5.0.0)

Just ran gem install rails --version 5.0.0 successfully on my Mac, using rvm and Ruby 2.3.0. What OS are you on? Are you following the directions listed here (for Mac) or here (for Windows)?
