Unable to Create enum 'AttemptKind' - Build a JavaFX Application course

Build a JavaFX Application course

  • step The Model (about 3:30 into the video)

One writes: private AttemptKind mKind; and the word 'AttemptKind' is marked red. In the video Craig get a red lightbulb left of the line with the option "Create enum 'AttemptKind' " but it doesn't show up for me at all in IntelliJ.

Is there a way to create enum manually?

In the left-hand pane, right-click on your package and choose New -> Java Class. Type AttemptKind for the Name and switch the Kind to Enum.
