PHP File Handling with PHP Basic File Handling Reading Files

Unable to display the contents of each file in lowercase

I used the following code to display the contents of each file in lowercase when the filename contains 'fun' in it but I am getting errors. It would be great to know where I am going wrong.

index.php
<?php
//add code here
$files=scandir('example');

foreach($files as $file) {
  if(strpos($file,'fun')!== false) {
    echo '<h3>'.$file.'</h3>';

    echo strtolower(file_get_contents($file));
  }
}

Hi Rohit, you have to make sure that you have the correct path to the file as it is located within the example directory.

echo strtolower(file_get_contents('example' . '/' . $file));
