Unable to enter code into challenges.

I am taking the css layouts course and yesterday afternoon suddenly could not enter code into any of the challenges. The cursor would change to pointer mode as soon as I hovered over the input area. I thought maybe it had something to do with my machine (running windows 10). I rebooted several times including a complete shutdown. All other parts of the teamtreehouse website allow me to enter text, as is witnessed by my ability to type this message. Anyone have a suggestion as to what I'm doing wrong?

Do you have the browser full screen?

If you have the browser smaller than full screen and are scrolled a bit down - this can make you unable to click inside the challenge window to fix this either make it full screen or scroll to the top of the page.

Mikkel, Thank you for the quick response to my query. I have tried both full and reduced screen in the browser (Chrome). I did notice that when I initially entered the challenge the cursor would sometimes be in text mode and would change to pointer mode around the 4th or 5th line. I'm going to do a little more experimentation and will report back.

You could also try a different browser and see if that helps?

Here's the answer, at least in my case. Someone (said while looking at young grandson) had increased the zoom to 150%. As soon as I lowered it to even 125% everything worked fine. Your suggestion having to do with scrolling was the hint I needed. Thanks again.

Glad you found out what the problem was.

Now there is only one thing to do - keep coding :)
