Unable to save index.html as described in web basics tutorial video

Hello,

I am on the first video for the second lab/module for building a basic website. I was instructed to download Sublime Text 2 as a text editor, which I was able to do with no problems. My issue comes when trying to save my initial open text edit page as index.html. I receive a pop up stating "Unable to save /index.html". I am on the latest OSX (pre-Mavericks). Is this because I am using an unregistered version of Sublime Text 2? If so, it would have been nice to have been told that from the beginning.

Any suggestions/helpful comments are much appreciated.

Thank you.

I found my problem.

My Mac was defaulting to save on my Hard Drive. Once I saved it to a folder, all was well in the kingdom.
