What kind of error messages do you get in the Console tab in Eclipse when you launch your app? You can also check for messages in the Logcat tab.

If your app is being correctly sent to the emulator then you should be able to click on the app launcher button at the bottom (circle with 6 dots) and look for your app in the list of all apps.

Hello Ben,

Thank you for responding below is the error for your reference, now it seems to be working and I am able to find my app now, but the emulator launching is very slow, any tips to solve this.

There are two good ways to speed up the emulator. My recommendation is to try out Genymotion, which is a free 3rd party emulator that I use all the time. I cover it in the Android Tools course: teamtreehouse.com/library/android-tools/getting-started-with-genymotion

The other way is to try out the hardware acceleration methods mentioned here: http://developer.android.com/tools/devices/emulator.html#acceleration
