Unable to select & download project file.

On Windows, I extracted the image files for Structure the Image Gallery track. I am unable to select them correctly to drop them onto the workspace. Also, .DS_Store shows at the top of the img list above facebook.png.

Did you just double-click on the folder, or did you right-click and select extract? You'll want to do the latter if you haven't, then drag-and-drop the files from the extracted folder. You can preview the files in an archive on Windows but they don't work right until you extract them to a new folder. .DS_Store is a system file and doesn't need to be uploaded to the workspace.

That's what I think the instructor was saying about .DS_Store. Thanks. Unfortunately for me, Nick uses apple, not windows, so opening and extracting looks different than mine. Once I get to zip file, HowToMakeAWebsite, the top menu says Extract Files, so I highlight the files and click on that button. Then it gives a box, Select destination and extract files? When I click Extract, I get another box with two img folders, asking if I want to replace and merge them. I select Skip. Then I get a folder with two files: img and index.html. I double clicked on img and now the images are shown with their titles. Oops, now I figured out how to change the icons to list form, which helps. But still I am unable to drag and drop all of them. I highlight, but it won't drag.

Sigh, FINALLY! Selected and dragged to workspace. Thank you very much. Your directions also helped me find other little errors I had made on the way. Thanks, Andrew.

Glad you got that sorted out.
