HTML How to Make a Website Customizing Colors and Fonts Add Fonts

unable to set font family

<style> h1 { font-family: Sans-serif; }

I used the above css to set style for header h1 but i'm getting following error

"It doesn't look like you have applied style to h1"

Hi there! There's a couple of things going on here. First, your h1 style is not supposed to be in your html file. It's supposed to be in main.css. Secondly, it asks you to apply the style that you previously linked from Google with a sans-serif fallback. What this means is that if the user (for whatever reason) is unable to get that font from Google right then, your font will be a generic sans serif. Third, the sans-serif value should not contain any capitalized letters. Fourth, your style block (even if it were required for this challenge) is improperly placed. It should reside inside the <head> tag. For the purposes of this challenge it should be removed completely from the html file.

So this is what you need to have in your main.css.

  font-family: Dosis, sans-serif;
}
