Unavoidable use of an & in a link

I have a link to a google map that uses &'s, when validated by w3c validator it is giving error messages. Will this affect SEO?

No worries, it turns out they are avoidable using &amp, and now validates.

You're good, having 1 link with an & would barely affect your SEO.
