You are missing one curly bracket that might cause the error:

rqst.onreadystatechange = function(){
    if(rqst.readyState===4) {
        var rooms = JSON.parse(rqst.responseText);
        var ul = '<ul class="rooms">';
    for(var i=0;i<rooms.length;i++){
        if(rooms[i].available===false){
            ul+='<li class="full">'+rooms[i].room+'</li>';
          } else {
            ul+='<li class="empty">'+rooms[i].room+'</li>';
          }
        }
          ul+='</ul>';
         document.getElementById("roomList").innerHTML=ul;
    } // add this curly bracket
};

it's working fine can u help me in query i posted just now
