Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'extend' of undefined(anonymous function) @ store.js:1

getting this error

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'extend' of undefined(anonymous function) @ store.js:1

my store.js file is:

Blogger.ApplicationSerializer = DS.LSSerializer.extend();
Blogger.ApplicationAdapter = DS.LSAdapter.extend();

I went and cloned Michael's github repo and matched up all the files in the lib directory to make sure all versions matched. This got rid of my error.
