Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function

I think I have follow correctly the code, but when I am running the website in the javascript control I am getting this error: Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function

more details:

$("input,textarea").focus(function() { $(this).next().fadein("slow"); Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function }).blur(function() { $(this).next().fadeout("slow"); Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function }).keyup(function() { requiedFilledIn(); });

can somebody help?

never mind... my mistake was that fadeIn and fadeOut was all lowercase (fadein, fadeout)
