Unclear directions

Reverse what? I reversed the string so it reads backwards. What am I supposed to reverse? Letters of each word? Reverse the words and the letters so it is a mirror image? Please clarify.

def stringcases(my_string): upper_string = my_string.upper() lower_string = my_string.lower() title_string = my_string.title() words = my_string.split() words.reverse() reverse_string = ' '.join(words) return(upper_string, lower_string, title_string, reverse_string)

stringcases.py
def stringcases(my_string):
    upper_string = my_string.upper()
    lower_string = my_string.lower()
    title_string = my_string.title()
    words = my_string.split()
    words.reverse()
    reverse_string = ' '.join(words)
    return(upper_string, lower_string, title_string, reverse_string)

Hi there! Yes, it means to reverse the string. If I put in "Treehouse" I would expect to get back "esuoheerT". I highly suggest you run this in an workspace and check your output. Right now, your code does not actually reverse that string.

Hope this helps! :sparkles:

Thanks for your help. I was locked into the string having to be sentence, which could be reversed multiple different ways.
