Understanding 'this' challenge 1/2

Hello,

I am working on this challenge and I am not sure what the question is asking. The question reads:

Modify this object so it uses two properties firstName and lastName and remove their variable declarations from the fullName method.

var contact = {
  fullName: function() {
    var firstName :"Andrew";
    var lastName :"Chalkley";
    console.log(firstName + " " + lastName);
  }
}

What exactly is this question asking?

1 Answer

Ah! Figured it out. The question was simply asking me to change the scope of the variable declarations.
