Uninstalling MySQL on Mac OS X for a Production Server

Hello all, I have been having difficulties running MySQL on my server and I recently watched the video instructions here. I think I will try to reinstall MySQL but I guess the question is how do I uninstall MySQL so I don't have to worry about old settings gumming up the works?
