Unreachable code error

it gives me " unreachable code error on the line ' boolean isHit=answer.indexOf(letter)...' please help sorry for pasting the code as i was working in ecilipse

I got the mistake it was the semicolon(;) I used after the IF statement for IllegalArgumentException sorry for wasting your time
