Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java IO

Unsure of how to write the code for console printf firstName lastName

Could someone help me get this correctly?

IO.java
// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.
String firstName = console.readLine ("Kimberli");
String lastName = console.readLine ("Broadus");

Hey Kimberli,

With readLine, you should not pass in any arguments. In fact, the user will be prompted to enter information in when your program runs. Secondly, you'll want to remove the space between readLine and the parentheses.

Like so:

// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.

String firstName = console.readLine();
String lastName = console.readLine();

Thank you, Jacob.
