Updating a website

Hey Everyone, I told the guys at work that I am learning how to design and develop web sites, so naturally they want me to edit their existing site with new images. All of their files are uploaded onto an FTP already, can I just edit the code that is already uploaded and expect instant results? Thanks

Yup, just update the path to the image files, and you should see instant results!
