Updating table linked to google spreadsheet.

I'm trying to code this Table so when you click on the "Create Entry" button it creates a new column where the user can add information and save it to the table. We are using This google spreadsheet as a "Database". Right now I can update the spreadsheet and refresh my app and it will update to reflect the spreadsheet but I need to be able to add info from the app using the button. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
