Upvoting/downvoting gone?

So I saw this post that I thought was excellent and realised I couldn't upvote or downvote it does anyone know if this is a bug or they are removing that?

That sounds rather odd. Only bugs I'm aware of at the moment is "attachments". I can further add that voting has been working on all my active posts today.

Could you possibly send a link to the post you were trying to vote on?

Yea, just like Jonathan said, you can't vote on general discussion topics.

I do agree that it is rather strange that you can't vote on these topics. To me, voting is a way for people to confirm that the information is accurate.

Upvoting and downvoting as I trust you know isn't available in general discussion posts like this one.

I had a (very) quick look and it seems like it's still up for topics. Voting is done on answers but not comments. :-)

It's been that way for a long as I've been on Treehouse. Certainly as long as I can remember. There's never been a points bracket for "general discussion" and since Treehouse is topic based it works better this way IMO :-)
