Use the document.write() function to print the contents of the player variable to the page.

I have done it right but my answer won't check.

app.js
var player = '<h1>Jasmine</h1>';
document.write (player);
index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

<body>

you're really close on this, just drop the h1 tags and you should be good to go.

var name = 'Jasmine';

document.write(name);

its just asking you to enter the sting 'Jasmine' in the variable name.
