Using console

Why do we use a console , why do we write there and not upper as in the "course java basic"? What does it change that we write down here in the console ? thanks for whoever responds , i am really interested!

Hi!

As far as I understood REPL is a special environment, which was specially designed and developed just for quick concept tests. In REPL you don't have to write tons of code in order to compile your small programmes, you will get the result instantaneously.
