Using iOS 8's credit card scan feature

I'm in the process of enhancing my companies order forms and I noticed the cool new feature iOS 8 has that will scan your credit card info with the camera then fills out the card information for you. I can get it to scan my card and fill out the CC# but not the expiration date. Does anyone know of a place where I can find documentation on this so I can implement it?!
