Courses Plus Student 534 Pointsusing "onmouseover", linked images "dissapear" after pressed in safari mobile browsers
I have basically finished my first CSS homepage after finishing section 1 of Treehouse. (I was still using tables and cells for years...I know, I finally came out of the stone age...)
I found a bug....When I view the page on my I-pad or I-phone in safari, my main menu links "dissapear" after I press them and then browse back. If I reload the page, they "appear" again. Is there some "magic" CSS or something I can use to fix this issue? I really don't want my potential customers dealing with this issue.
I am using the "onmousover" and "onmouseout" to achieve the look that I want....
Here is my page: http://www.islandweddingmemories.com
Here is the code I am using:
<div class="grid_12 headnav"> <a href="packages.htm"> <img src="New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/weddingpackagesdark.jpg" alt="Maui Wedding Packages" onmouseover="this.src='New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/weddingpackageslight.jpg'" onmouseout="this.src='New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/weddingpackagesdark.jpg'"/></a> <a href="carte.htm"> <img src="New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/alacartedark.jpg" alt="Maui Wedding A La Carte" onmouseover="this.src='New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/alacartelight.jpg'" onmouseout="this.src='New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/alacartedark.jpg'"/></a> <a href="locations.htm"> <img src="New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/locationsdark.jpg" alt="Maui Wedding Locations" onmouseover="this.src='New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/locationslight.jpg'" onmouseout="this.src='New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/locationsdark.jpg'"/></a> <a href="testimonials.htm"> <img src="New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/testimonialsdark.jpg" alt="Maui Wedding Testimonials" onmouseover="this.src='New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/testimonialslight.jpg'" onmouseout="this.src='New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/testimonialsdark.jpg'"/></a> <a href="past_weddings.htm"> <img src="New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/pastweddingsdark.jpg" alt="Maui Past Weddings" onmouseover="this.src='New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/pastweddingslight.jpg'" onmouseout="this.src='New_Homepage_6-20-13/Graphics/pastweddingsdark.jpg'"/></a> </div>
Thanks for any help!
Judah

39,199 PointsThere's no CSS or JavaScript in your codepen as the issue most likely isn't related to your HTML.
