Using the exact code as in video, my text color did not change. I saved the work before previewing my change.

I am following along doing exactly as the video instructor and running into an issue with my font color not changing when I enter the correct style sheet code. I saved the information and also refreshed then tried to preview the page the font is still in black. Also when I highlight the word "blue" in the nested style sheet, it does not show me the blue color chip as in the video. Has this code been updated to be entered differently since the video was produced or something?

Hi Jodi, this may be a cache issue with your browser or something in the code. Are you able to paste in your css and maybe the html which it is trying to change? We'll start with this and figure it out from there.

Clearing the cache can be solved by doing a forced refresh ctrl+r / cmd+r / ctrl+f5 ... I just try everything ;), closing the browser and reopening can also do the trick.

Damien could be onto something with that one. Try clearing your cache. If that doesn't work please check that there is no contradictory code preventing the color change.

If you are still having this issue, you can post your code and we can be more of assistance. Sometimes we make small errors in the code when we type. Those small errors can completely mess up your code.
