Using user input from a form to fill a properties value in a JavaScript object?

Somehow i missed how to do this. I hope one of you would be kind enough to help me out. In simpliest terms this is what I want to achieve: a user fills out a form and that data is then automatically used to fill the values of a property in a Javascript object. Yes, this is not something hard but for some reason i found myself confused on executing this. Thank you for any help on this simple question.

Brian.

okay i am thinking wrong. What i need is for a new Object to be created upon submission of a form with the submitted data.
