UX Techdegree experience

Hi all,

I know that the UX Techdegree is fairly new. I am considering doing it in a few months after web development. Can anyone tell me how he or she is finding the course?

Thanks Brian

I'm only on Unit 1 but loving it so far! It is far more interactive and hands on compared to other courses I tried, like the Interaction Design Foundation or RookieUp. It's very thorough, and as a beginner with no design background I've learned a lot already in less than a week since I've started! I've found other courses I tried are far too text-heavy for me, unlike Treehouse. It's great value for the price, lots of projects, exercises and resources/help available. This course seems to be most similar to the expensive fancy bootcamps online without the heavy price tag! I hope this helps!

Hi Abigail, thanks for the reply. I'm glad that the feedback is positive and that you are enjoying the course! I love the coding courses at Treehouse but I realized that I have always loved design (wanted to be an architect). I live in South Africa, and American courses are quite expensive but at Treehouse I found courses that won't break me financially. Wishing you much success with the course and breaking into the UX field!
