vagrant up doesn't work in cmder, it says Vagrant calls to detect the version of VirtualBox are returning empty.

VirtualBox is installed... and I can type the command to find out the version. I've installed latest versions of both in the order presented in the video? Stumped.. moving on in the tutorial and just running rails at the command line.

still no answer? This completely derailed my Treehouse usage since it didn't work. I haven't been back for weeks. I'm just going to try and do this running rails locally.

This is seriously the most frustrating thing ever.... still not working.

I am having the same issue and the lack of support from Treehouse is extremely aggravating. Versions and links are constantly broken. For a paid subscription the support is completely unsatisfactory. They fully rely on their students to support other students. Ridiculous!
