Variable Values at Runtime

Can variable values in an IOS application be changed during runtime?

of course. that is why they are variables

you could have a name variable with an initial value of "". you could have a text field that the user inputs some text into and a button that says send.

when send is pressed you could set the value of name to whatever was input in the text field. the variables value changed from the default value it had of "" to "whatever the user entered"
