Vector mask creation in the CS6 version

In CS6, when I emphasize an object automatically creates a new layer mask named "Ellipse", and when I want to fill another space, how we did it with pixel mask, photoshop told me, that I had to rasterize mask, I do it, and after this I want to fill another space, which I'm not emphasize. But I can fill only emphasize layer.

How can I fill not an emphasized part in the document with vector mask?
