Vendor files

I checked out the vendor files out of curiosity and I am wondering why the babel-browser.min.js and the react.js files are so enormous. Now if I was going to use react in a project are those the files I would need to include? I figure this sounds pretty silly but I am still learning and am trying to understand as much as possible even if it seems unimportant or odd. Thanks for listening.
