iOS supports the following video formats H.264, MPEG-4 in .mp4, .m4v, .mov file formats and you could use Parse Hosting: https://parse.com/products/hosting to host the files.

the app thats is coming out on the 7 of august that treehouse has done, that is the app that will use parse.com as a backend right?

With that app (the one that is coming out by use soon), am i able to use the info that you have sent me (about the parse.com hosting) to host the files for the app so when it comes out (in the app store) it has info already on it?

And modify that app that is coming out by treehouse with the hosted info and the that i have created (if i create the info) and with that app (the one that is coming out by use soon), are you abel to save the video to the apps backend so all the videos are saved that are made, because that would be great to see that feature were you can make and record the video and add it to the app and it saves to the backend.

Hi Damon,

Amit asked me to chime in since I am teaching the Parse project coming out today. :) We will primarily be teaching how to use the Parse Data product, which is slightly different than Parse Hosting. I'm not exactly sure what you plan to do with yours, but it sounds like either solution might be good for you. With Parse Data you can upload and download videos, and with Parse Hosting you can host set videos that you want to be available in the app. I don't know if you can upload user-created videos to Parse Hosting as I haven't used that specific product myself.

Anyhow, hopefully the upcoming app has what you need. Good luck!

oh and thanks for everything Amit and answering my Questions which have been alot so thanks for the help you are great at your job and teaching skill 10/10
