The video streaming of Treehouse website is very slow.I thought it was a problem with my internet connection but after I made some tests it's not my internet that is slow but there is some problem with the website. The videos from other sites such as Youtube are running fast. Please help.

What browser are you using? In Chrome, you can toggle the 'Use hardware acceleration when available' tick-box in advanced settings. This can free-up sluggish video streaming.

Not understanding how it would be browser dependent when it hasn't been an issue before.

57,712 PointsHi Martin,
Thank you for the additional information.
So, we know this is user-specific to a point as it is not impacting the wider Treehouse community. You have ruled out a machine-specific or browser-specific issue by testing across platforms. So, this leaves user or environment issues.
One thing, and I don't know if this setting persists cross-session, have you changed, deliberately or accidentally, the video playback speed setting at the bottom of the video display window?
The middle icon here changes the speed the video plays at:

Yes, I had been playing with that setting in a local coding meetup earlier in the week and didn't realize that I hadn't changed it back.
Thanks for the help.

57,712 PointsApologies for the delay but this only just appeared as me having been asked to provide an answer.
What browser are you using? I had a few problems with Chrome that are easily fixed.
