Videos doesn't fill full width and height in fullscreen

If i go into fullscreen on a random video it doesn't fill the full width and height on my MacBook Air 13". I use Google Chrome. If I open the video in a new tab (right click - open video in new tab) everything is fine. This problem appeared the first time maybe 3 days ago.

I'm getting the same thing. If you right click on the 'non-full screen full screen video' and click the 'show controls' option, you can adjust the video to full screen.
