Videos Not Loading properly

Hi when I attempt to stream a video to watch it the arrow just keeps spinning and the video never starts. Is anyone else having this problem? What do you suggest I do? I am able to stream videos on you tube and other sites.

Same issue here. Just have to refresh your browser window

Ehh... appears to only work for some videos. Others are just a continuous spinning arrow.

I agree this is extremely annoying!

I am having the same issue. Im on a chromebook and am getting no spinning arrow.

I couldnt even make it through the welcome video.

Youtube videos are playing at 720hd so... maybe they need to upgrade hosting?

This is getting frustrating.

I am using incognito mode and still having issues. checked my internet connection and thats at 27mbps download 5.5upload.

Emailed helpdesk and got the below:

Firstly, make sure that you are running the most recent version of your browser and try closing all open windows other than Treehouse in your browser.

Depending on which browser you use, we also recommend trying to run your browser in incognito mode to see if it’s possible that an extension is messing with your video playback.

For Chrome this is called "Incognito Mode" and for Firefox "Safe Mode." Unfortunately we dont have good options for IE or Safari, but they are usually not impacted by plugins.

If the video streams better in incognito mode, try to figure out which extension is causing the problem. What extensions do you have?

Alternatively you can download the videos to watch instead of streaming them through the browser. We give our members the option of downloading the videos in either a higher or lower resolutions - the links are beneath the video, and the links to download videos in bulk on the left side of the Library :)

I'm a few days late to this discussion but I discovered that it only happens in Chrome. On a few platforms too, I tried it on my Windows 8 PC, my Wifes MacBook Air and my Samsung Galaxy Note. Always with Chrome. Anyway after installing Firefox they run fine so it's worth a shot if you get the endlessly spinning arrow.

yeah I have noticed it happens more with the chromebook too.. I am able to watch it in browser in the download hd so that has been working well.

Nope, it happens in Firefox too. Tried everything but nothing works :|
