Vim, nano, emacs, course?

Hi Folks,

Are there any plans of launching a course related to these editors?

If not, where are good places to learn how to use these tools?

There is actually a workshop that was held on vim. If you are new to vim, this is a great introduction.

Thanks Jeff Jacobson-Swartfager I'm more of a emacs person, but was curious if workshops were all they were going to do for these?

Hopefully so!

By the way, it came out in the course of this workshop that he was actually using a vim emulator within emacs in order to get multi-threading. So, it still might be worth a glance!

Could Treehouse also make the vim course too? Please? I have watched the workshop, but in my opinion the feeling is different between course and workshop. I love how Treehouse delivers its lecturers, and I think it will be really really helpful for us if Treehouse could also make the vim course. :D

A vim course would be a great addition to Treehouse's material. In the meantime, checkout these resources:

They should get you off to a good start!

Bookmarked. :D

In that case, I know what I'll be doing this weekend lol

Ha!
