Virtual Device It takes a very long time for my virtual device to show .Why?

My virtual device takes a very long time to show up or it does not show up at all

Taking a very long time is usual for everyone. Once it's up and running though, it should be fairly quick to re-run your app

Strongly suggest you go ahead and download a 3rd party emulator such as genymotion. It's extremely fast compared to your AVD and it makes your developing experience a lot less stressful. Easy to use and setup !
